We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without notice. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

4. Payment Terms

All prices on the Website are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.
When purchasing a service, you agree to:

  • Provide a valid payment method

  • Be responsible for all charges including taxes, service fees, and applicable surcharges

  • Authorise us (and our payment processors) to charge your payment method for the full amount


We may retain payment information securely and obtain pre-approval from card issuers where necessary. My Private Dinners reserves the right to cancel any transaction deemed suspicious or fraudulent.

The Website may offer goods or services for sale directly or via third parties. We strive for accurate descriptions and imagery but make no warranties regarding their accuracy or completeness. All purchases are made at your own risk.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Private Dinners is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Our total liability is limited to the greater of:

  • AUD $100, or

  • The amount you paid to My Private Dinners in the past six (6) months.

16. Force Majeure (Extraordinary Events)

My Private Dinners shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations if such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control. These include, but are not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather events (such as cyclones, floods or fires), pandemics, government restrictions, power outages, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseeable emergencies.

In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule the service at no additional cost. If rescheduling is not feasible, a full or partial refund may be offered, depending on the circumstances and costs already incurred.

17. Cancellation and Refund Policy

To secure your booking, a AU$ 100 deposit of the estimated total is required at the time of reservation.
The remaining balance must be paid within 24 hours of proposal acceptance.

Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event → Eligible for a full refund, including the deposit.
Cancellations made between 8 and 30 days before the event → Eligible for a 50% refund of the total amount paid, or a 50% credit if rescheduled within 90 days.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the eventNo refunds or credits will be issued.

Guest Count Changes

Changes in guest count must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
Reductions in guest count within 48 hours are non-refundable.
Additional guests may be accepted subject to availability and an extra fee per guest.
The event will proceed based on the last confirmed guest count unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Dietary & Safety Notice
Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions (including nuts, shellfish, or others) at least 7 days prior to the event to ensure proper planning and guest safety.

Allergy Disclaimer

It is the client’s responsibility to inform My Private Dinners of any allergies or dietary restrictions at least 7 days prior to the event. While every effort will be made to accommodate allergies, we cannot guarantee that traces of allergens will not be present.

By booking our services, the client agrees that My Private Dinners and Chef Salvador are not liable for any allergic reactions resulting from undisclosed allergies or restrictions not communicated within the required timeframe.
